The Dale Loft

The Dale Loft features large west-facing windows fitted with 2.5-stop diffusion blinds, along with full blackout curtains that allow complete control over incoming light.

In the afternoon, direct sunlight enters the space and gradually sweeps across the room as the sun moves west. This creates dynamic patches of natural light and shadow that can be used creatively for photography or filming, depending on the weather conditions and time of year.

During the morning hours, the loft receives a soft, glowing reflected light bouncing off the neighbouring building. This indirect illumination produces a gentle, even ambient light that is ideal for portraits and softer visual setups.

Together, these lighting conditions make the space highly versatile, offering both controlled natural light and the ability to fully black out the room when artificial lighting is preferred.

The Dale Library

The Dale Library features west-facing windows fitted with blackout curtains, allowing full control over natural light when required.

In addition, the space includes south-facing windows that provide a continuous soft glow of natural light throughout the day. This consistent illumination creates a bright yet balanced atmosphere, making the room particularly well suited for portraits, interviews, and editorial photography.

During the afternoon, direct sunlight enters through the west-facing windows and gradually sweeps across the room as the sun lowers in the sky. This produces striking bands of natural light and shadow that can be used creatively, depending on the weather conditions and time of year.

In the morning, a warm reflected glow bounces in from the neighbouring buildings, creating a gentle, diffused ambient light that fills the space without harsh contrast.

Wispy, semi-translucent curtains are also available on request, allowing the natural light to be softened further for a more delicate, atmospheric look.
